McCool's Flooring Helps Habitat House Owner
Indianapolis, IN- McCool’s Flooring was recently blessed with the opportunity to help a family in the building of their new Habitat for Humanity home. Ask Angelia Schmidt what this new home is going to mean to her and her kids and prepare to get an earful. She is so thankful to begin a new chapter in her life with a beautiful place to call home. This will be Angelia’s first home. She recently received her high school diploma and now wants to pursue a career in the Nursing field. Having a safe, well-built home is going to go a long way in making that dream a reality. This home is going to give her the space she needs to provide the environment she has always hoped she would be able to give her kids and grandkids.

McCool’s Flooring teamed up with Fox59 News and many other great companies to make Angelia’s dream come true. It has been great to see the community come together as it so often does to make this happen. Many volunteers have given of their time, talent, and treasure to help Angelia and her family.

McCool’s Flooring installed nearly 500 square feet of Congoleum’s Airstep Evolution vinyl (see style here) throughout the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. This product was chosen for Angelia due to its outstanding durability and ease of cleaning (and it looks good!).
As for the family room and bedrooms, McCool’s installed over 1300 square feet of Mohawk’s Dupont Sorona Smartstrand frieze carpeting. See how it fared with 6 elephants and a rhinoceros here. If it can handle that type of wildlife, the Smartstrand carpet won’t even notice Angelia and her kids! Everyone at McCool’s Flooring is so excited for Angelia and her family to begin enjoying their new home!
